Terms & Conditions

Payment Terms

We strive to provide you and your animals with prompt and efficient veterinary care.  In order to maintain the level of service that you deserve and that we desire to deliver, we must receive prompt payment for the services we provide.

Payment will be expected in full at the time of service, unless prior credit arrangements have been made.

We accept payment by cash, Visa, MasterCard, cheque, e-transfer, and now debit through our mobile terminals.

Client Service Agreement

We are required by our governing body, The College of Veterinarians of Ontario (CVO), to establish a veterinarian-client-patient relationship in order to provide veterinary services to you and your animals. This means that the client retains the veterinarian, the veterinarian and client reach an agreement as to the scope of the services to be provided by the veterinarian, and the veterinarian advises the client that services will only be provided in accordance with the standards of practice of the profession. Our client service agreement documents this conversation, and gives us your consent to collect personal information required in the care of your animals. Our animal health team members would be happy to answer any questions you may have before you sign the agreement.

Call Fees

Regular Call Fees are charged when a veterinarian attends a call that has been booked during regular business hours (Monday to Friday 8:30 am to 4:30 pm).

Emergency Call Fees are charged when a veterinarian attends an emergency call during regular business hours that requires adjustment to schedule of regular calls already booked.

Emergency Call Fees for Non-Clients are billed at a different rate when a veterinarian attends an emergency call. Please inquire when you call.

After-Hours Call Fees are charged when a veterinarian attends a call after hours or on weekends.

Technician Call Fees are charged when one of our Registered Veterinary Technicians makes a call to your farm or stable to perform treatments or collect samples, instead of a veterinarian.

Charges for examinations, procedures and treatments are in addition to the call fees listed above.

All veterinary services, medications and supplies are subject to HST.
